Rangitoto Kayak...

Weather is looking primo for our kayak tomorrow. Don't forget to ensure you have warm clothing and plenty of food and drink. Wind, sun and tide are all on our side - bring it on.

Keep your eye on the weather by checking the Weather Watch and Metservice websites below. To kayak to we ideally need sunny and calm conditions. If you check the marine forecast on the Metservice website, look for conditions that have wind below 10 knots.

  1. And we are postponed again. Weather for Tuesday is averaging 20 knots - no fun for kayaking. We are turning to our save day Friday. We are 100% going on Friday, at this stage the weather looks good, if it does become choppy we can alternatively paddle from Takapuna around to North Head and back.

  3. What a Fantastic Day! I know I have not moved far from the couch tonight - not that I should be tired, Travis paddled me all the way there and back! Don't forget to check out all the photos....
